SUMMARY:IOS Members' Night - April 2025 - Talk by Mark Turner from Elite Orchids
DESCRIPTION:April's members' night will take place on Monday 7th April at 7pm in the Auditorium of the National Botanic Gardens.\nEvening Talk\nMark Turner from Elite Orchids will be giving a talk on the successful transporting orchids in flower for shows. \nPostponed Vote on the changes to the constitution\nWe will also have a vote on the changes to the constitution if a quorum is present. Please RSVP to let us know if you are joining in-person. \nShow Table\nThe Show Table is back\, so if you have an orchid in flower bring it along to be judged\, or add an image(s) with a card displaying the date\, name and age of the orchid to the virtual show table on the WhatsApp Group (click here). \nThe top prize is a copy of Saving Orchids the new book by Philip Seaton and Lawrence W. Zettler telling the inspiring stories of people around the world working in orchid conservation. \nOnline and In-person Raffle\nWe will also have a raffle on the night for some orchids\, we have a couple of cymbidiums as prizes and a cattleya.
