The Annual General Meeting of the Irish Orchid Society will take place on Monday 8th July at 7pm in the lecture theatre at the National Botanic Gardens. Membership renewals can be made on the night and we would be delighted to welcome new members.

The May evening event will have a talk and slide show on the visit to the UK, lots of orchids for raffle and bark and coir fibre for sale. Bring along any sick plants and we will also be accepting new members.

We will be in the lecture theatre at the visitor centre of the National Botanic Gardens on Monday 8th April from 7pm. This March we'll have our first daytime workshop style meeting at the National Botanic Gardens.

Join us for our first in-person meeting of 2024 in the lecture theatre at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin.

November’s meeting will be an opportunity for members to bring along any orchids that they have in flower or have issues and looking for advice.

At the October meeting we are both delighted and excited to have Guatemalan ecologist Challen Willemsen giving an online presentation from his cloud-forest clad homeland.
This event is a hybrid event which means that if you want to attend in person you are very welcome to; but if you cannot attend a link will appear on the page 15-minutes before the start of the event which when clicked will allow you to view and participate with the event online by video. This evening is only available to members of the Irish Orchid Society.
