Aleks spoke about how easy it is to grow orchids in the home. She discussed where she buys orchids and her daily/weekly routines of watering and feeding.

I was very happy with such a warm welcome of my little talk about orchids. All the orchids in my collection are growing at home, with no extra heating or humidity although there are species from different conditions in natural habitat. 

Some of them grew well from the beginning, the other needed some extra help like changing of the place or different compost. Some of them didn’t survive but it’s also a part of learning and experience.
