A short report on the April meeting which included lots of orchid prizes and a presentation on naming conventions in the orchid world

Our first weekend workshop of the year was a great success and the perfect location for a social as well as dealing with some troublesome plants.

The first in-person meeting of 2024 was held in our usual location, the Lecture Theatre at the National Botanic Gardens visitor centre.

We enjoyed a fascinating presentation by Challen Willemsen on the orchids of Guatemala.

The first IOS meeting of the new season took place in the lecture theatre of the National Botanic Gardens. This was the first meeting which also took place online facilitated by our new conference equipment.
