The wonderful RHS Orchid Show returns to Wisley! Held in the Garden Room at RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science for the chance to meet orchid growers, browse dazzling displays and pick up expert advice with our programme of talks and demos. The show offers everything needed to nurture your passion.
We will be in the lecture theatre at the visitor centre of the National Botanic Gardens on Monday 8th April from 7pm. The May evening event will have a talk and slide show on the visit to the UK, lots of orchids for raffle and bark and coir fibre for sale. Bring along any sick plants and we will also be accepting new members.
Bord Bia Bloom is Ireland's largest and most spectacular gardening event.
The premier orchid show in The UK... ..takes place every year at The Three Counties Showground, Malvern as part of the Three Counties Show. Over 30 exhibitors and societies will have displays at the show.
Brendan Sayers will be leading a guided tour for members only of the Bull Island Nature Reserve to view the orchids growing/flowering there.
The Annual General Meeting of the Irish Orchid Society will take place on Monday 8th July at 7pm in the lecture theatre at the National Botanic Gardens. Membership renewals can be made on the night and we would be delighted to welcome new members.
